Share your work in the comments below with a link back to your blog so we can all share and grow as a community!
There’s no time limit, so do take your time, and check back during the week to see what other people have come up with.

It WAS a beautiful day…
(Limerick)
Twas a beautiful day for a walk
It encouraged romantic type talk
Then the wind whipped my hair
A lost wig left me bare
And at romance you now baulk

“It was a beautiful day for a walk”
(Narrative poem)
It was a beautiful day for a Nature walk,
I had no intentions to be at home and talk,
A walk amidst Mother Nature,
Soothing breeze, chattering birds,
Oh! The fragrance of the greens,
And, the dancing blossoms,
Made me soak in the heavenly pleasures,
With positive vibes, joy, peace all around,
I took off my shoes,
To feel the wet grass,
Rejuvenating, refreshing my senses,
Because, I loved the Nature walk.

It was a beautiful day for a walk
Through the local graveyard
Here I could always find peace
To escape the horrors of my life.

It was a beautiful day for a walk
Me and my thoughts
We were walking together lost
Scenes outside and inner talk
Long distance seemed short
