The Prima Ballerina Mechanic
When he came back, her pink overalls were covered with inner-and-under-car stains. Her smile beamed out through cheeks, chin and forehead smudged with grease. “This is like so totally mega awesome,” she waved a breaker bar length socket wrench in his face.
“She ever gets tired of bein’ a ballerina,” Peech, clean for a body and repair shop owner, offered Jackson a chin raise and Whoa, Damn eyes. “She can come to work here anytime.”
“Is it driveable?”
“Of course!” He dodged her greasy hand swat. “I’m like not some zero watt bimbo. And it like sounds sooo stellar now, just like yours!” She plunged her hands into a bucket of GoJo. “Now that you’re like back and everything, can we like go eat?”
